Cobi Historical Collection Douglas C47 Berlin Airlift kit Military transport aircraft that was frequently used by the Allies during the Second World War and that is still in service. The aircraft is an adaptation of the Douglas DC3 commercial aircraft with the addition of a cargo door, hoist attachment, reinforced floor, glider-dragging buoys and an astrologer in the cabin roof. More than 10,000 were produced in the US between March 1943 and August 1945. This set is a wonderful addition to the extensive range of COBI building blocks!
