Cobi Small Army kit Stridsvagn 103C The Stridsvagn 103 or Strv 103 (also known as S-Tank) was a Swedish post-war amphibious combat tank known for its unconventional design. This tank had a fixed gun that was moved by turning on the tracks and raised by adjusting the hull suspension. It is the only series-produced tank of any kind since the Second World War to abandon a dome and was also the first main battle tank to use a turbine engine. The Stridsvagn 103, however, never saw a fight and so the design remains unproven. It was later replaced by the Stridsvagn 121 and the Stridsvagn 122. The brick version of this innovative tank has a controllable hatch, a movable armoured shield at the front of the vehicle and a chassis that moves up and down.
