White Goblin Games Rattus party game The Black Death (the plague epidemic) reaches Europe and after a period of four to five years the population of Europe has halved. The players start in different regions in Europe, while the plague spreads throughout the continent. The players receive help from the different classes in the Middle Ages. However, the plague makes no distinction: when the rats arrive, nobody is safe anymore. When the plague epidemic withdraws and the game ends, the player whose largest population is still alive wins.
