Cobi Historical Collection Ford V3000S Maultier Ambulance kit Even after the declaration of war to Germany in December 1941, Ford Germany continued production unchanged. However, in 1942 production was stopped due to a lack of parts from the USA. For use in the Wehrmacht the trucks were delivered with different bodies and kits. The basic model was the V 3000 S (standard with 3.9-litre V8, rear-wheel drive), later supplemented by the V 3000 A (four-wheel drive) and the smaller B 3000S with 3.3-litre four-cylinder engine and 52 hp.
