The large brown colored animal is characterized by a long head, long tail and long legs with broad hooves, which, like the reindeer, make a crackling sound when walking. The large antler has no eye branch and all ends are directed backwards. These deer love water and can swim well. They are mainly grazers, but in the summer they supplement their plant-based diet with water plants.
