Cobi Historical Collection Spitfire MK IX kit The Supermarine Spitfire was a British fighter and was taken into production in 1938 by Supermarine Division, Vickers Armstrong Ltd. In the first months of 1942, with the clear superiority of the Focke Wulf FW190 over the Spitfire VB, there was a lot of pressure to get Spitfires into production with the new two-phase supercharged Merlin 61 engine. The performance of the Spitfire IX was remarkably better than the Spitfire V, especially at heights above 20,000 feet. At the level, the Spitfire is considerably faster and the climb is exceptionally good. The maneuverability is as good as a Spitfire V to 30,000 feet and higher is much better. This set is a wonderful addition to the extensive range of COBI building blocks! It is easy to build and contains many additional elements that allow the builder to be creative. COBI building blocks are compatible with other brands of building blocks such as LEGO and Sluban Specifications: COBI 5545 Colour: brown Gender: boys Material: plastic Dimensions plane: 280 x 335 x 135 mm (lxwxh) Dimensions maintenance station: 255 x 100 mm (lxh) Age: from 3 years old Content: 400 Building blocks 2 Figures
